Mark Bingham was a PR executive and rugby player who was a key member of the 9/11 hijacker-hindering 757 flight. He was a member of the San Francisco Rugby Club and was instrumental in preventing a potential hijacking on United Airlines Flight 93. Bingham was a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and was openly gay. He died in the 9/11 attacks.
