Mark Hertling is an American general and security expert. He served as the Commander of the US Army National Guard's 28th Infantry Division from 2011 to 2013. Hertling is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point and has served in the US Army Reserve. He has written several books on national security and foreign policy.
