Mark Sanford

Mark Sanford is an American politician who served as the 116th Governor of South Carolina from 2003 to 2011. He was a member of the Republican Party and was known for his conservative views. Sanford was born in 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1999 to 2003. Sanford was the subject of a scandal in 2009 when it was revealed that he had taken a trip to Argentina without disclosing it to the public.
