Martha Lucía Ramírez

Martha Lucía Ramírez is a Colombian politician who has been serving as the Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia since 2022. She was a member of the Colombian Congress from 2010 to 2018 and served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2022. She is the first woman to hold the position of Vice President in Colombia's history. Ramírez has been a strong advocate for women's rights and has worked to promote peace and reconciliation in Colombia. She has also been a vocal critic of the Colombian government's handling of the country's peace process with the FARC guerrilla group.
