Martin Bell is a British journalist and writer who has reported from over 90 countries and 11 wars. He began his career as a reporter for the BBC and covered various assignments, including the Falklands War and the Gulf War. In 1997, he quit the BBC to stand as an independent candidate in the Tatton by-election, where he won the seat. Bell has written several books on his experiences as a war reporter and has been recognized for his work with numerous awards. He has also been a vocal critic of the media and politics.
