Martin Carthy

Martin Carthy is a British folk singer and musician. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the English folk revival of the 1960s. Carthy has released numerous albums and has collaborated with other notable musicians, including Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. He has also been recognized for his contributions to the preservation of traditional music and has been awarded several honors for his work. Carthy has been married to the singer Norma Waterson since 1972 and has a daughter, Eliza, who is also a musician.
