Martin Peterson

Martin Peterson is a vuurtoringwagter (fire lookout) at the Groot Vispunt-vuurtoring outside Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape. He is one of the last four vuurtoringwagters in South Africa still practicing the profession. Peterson has been working as a vuurtoringwagter for over 20 years and has gained extensive experience in the field. He is known for his expertise in navigation and weather forecasting. Peterson is a respected figure in his community and has been involved in various initiatives to promote the importance of vuurtoringwagters in South Africa.
