Mary Leakey

Mary Leakey was a British paleoanthropologist and archaeologist who made significant contributions to the field of human evolution. She was one of the first women to work in the field of paleoanthropology and was known for her groundbreaking discoveries in East Africa. Leakey was a pioneer for women in science and was awarded numerous honors for her work.
