Mat Kaplan

Mat Kaplan is the Director of Communications for the Planetary Society. He has been with the organization since 2007 and has played a key role in promoting the Planetary Society's mission and activities. Before joining the Planetary Society, Kaplan worked as a journalist and a science writer. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and has a degree in journalism. Kaplan is also a skilled astronomer and has participated in several space-related projects. He is known for his enthusiasm and passion for space exploration and his ability to make complex scientific concepts accessible to a broad audience.
