Mathieu Olivier

Mathieu Olivier is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays as a defenseman for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on January 11, 1998, in Laval, Quebec, Canada. Olivier played junior hockey for the Rimouski Océanic of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League before being drafted by the Blue Jackets in the second round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut in 2020 and has since become a key player for the Blue Jackets.
