Matt McDermaid

Matt McDermaid is a winemaker and entrepreneur based in Sonoma County, California. He earned an MBA in Wine Business from Sonoma State and studied winemaking at UC Davis. McDermaid has worked in the wine industry for over a decade, including stints at Meeker Vineyard and GlenLyon Vineyards & Winery, where his aunt and uncle are owners. He launched Staysail Wines with a focus on low-intervention wines sourced from organic vineyards. McDermaid is known for his passion for sustainable winemaking practices and his commitment to creating unique, high-quality wines.
