Matt Nicholson is a poet, writer, and performer from East Yorkshire, UK. He began writing at a young age and continued to hone his craft through various creative pursuits. Nicholson has a heart condition and has spoken publicly about his experiences with mental health and finding purpose in life. He is a regular contributor to The Open, a creative writing course that he has also taught.
