Matthias Miersch

Matthias Miersch is a German politician from the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). He has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2005 and has held various positions within the party, including stellvertretender Fraktionsvorsitzender of the SPD Bundestagsfraktion and Sprecher of the parlamentarische Linken (PL) in the SPD Bundestagsfraktion. He has been involved in various policy areas, including Umwelt, Energie, Landwirtschaft, and Klima. Miersch has also been involved in the revision of the Heizungsgesetz.
