Max Brooks is an American author, educator, and former Army officer. He is best known for his novel World War Z, which was adapted into a film in 2013. Brooks has also written several other books, including The Zombie Survival Guide and Devolution. He has taught at West Point and has spoken at numerous conferences and events.
