Mel Giedroyc is a British comedian, actress, and TV presenter. She is best known for her work on the BBC's The Great British Bake Off and her comedy duo with Sue Perkins. Giedroyc studied English at Cambridge University and began her career in comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe. She has also appeared on several other TV shows, including QI and Have I Got News for You.
