Melanie Jayne Chisholm, known professionally as Melanie C, is a British singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born on January 12, 1974, in Huyton, Merseyside, England. She rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of the Spice Girls. After the group disbanded, she pursued a solo music career and has released several successful albums. She has also acted in various stage productions and television shows.
