Mercè Pujol

Mercè Pujol was a Catalan writer and playwright. She is best known for her work on the legend of Saint Jordi. Pujol was born in 1901 in Barcelona, Spain. She began her writing career in the 1920s and went on to write numerous plays and stories. Her work often explored Catalan culture and history. Pujol was a prominent figure in Catalan literature during her lifetime. She passed away in 1985.
