Mike Simpson

Mike Simpson is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Idaho's at-large congressional district. He was first elected in 1998 and has served 23 terms. Simpson is a former chairman of the House Agriculture Committee and has been a strong advocate for agriculture and rural development. He is also a former chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee. Simpson is known for his work on issues related to agriculture, veterans' affairs, and rural development. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and has served in the Idaho State Senate and the Idaho House of Representatives before being elected to Congress.
