Mohamed Mosaddegh was a Iranian politician who served as Prime Minister of Iran from 1951 to 1953. He was a key figure in the Iranian oil industry and was known for his nationalist policies. Mosaddegh was overthrown in a CIA-backed coup in 1953 and was later imprisoned and exiled. He died in 1967.
