Mordecai Kaplan

Mordecai Kaplan was a prominent American rabbi and theologian. He was the founder of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and served as its president for over 40 years. Kaplan was a leading figure in the development of Reconstructionist Judaism and was known for his emphasis on the importance of social justice and activism. He was also a prolific writer and published several books on Jewish theology and philosophy.
