Mordehai Milgrom

Mordehai Milgrom is an Israeli physicist and cosmologist. He is a professor at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and has made significant contributions to our understanding of gravity and the universe. Milgrom is best known for proposing the MOND theory, which attempts to explain the observed rotation curves of galaxies without invoking dark matter. He has also worked on other topics in physics, including cosmology and particle physics. Milgrom has received several awards for his work, including the Kavli Prize in Astrophysics. In his free time, Milgrom enjoys hiking and playing chess.
