Italian composer and pianist
Muzio Clementi was an Italian composer and pianist of the Classical period. He was born in 1752 in Rome, Italy, and died in 1832 in London, England. Clementi was a child prodigy and began composing music at the age of six. He went on to become one of the most celebrated pianists of his time, known for his technical skill and expressive playing style. Clementi composed over 300 works, including sonatas, concertos, and chamber music. He was also a prolific publisher and founded the Clementi Music Company, which published many of his compositions.
