Oceanographer and freediver
Natalia Shepel is an oceanographer and freediver who has made a name for herself in the scientific community with her groundbreaking research on deep-sea exploration. Born and raised in Ukraine, Shepel developed a passion for the ocean at a young age and went on to study marine biology at the University of Kiev. After completing her degree, she pursued her Ph.D. in oceanography at the University of Warsaw, where she focused on the study of marine life in the deep sea. Shepel's research has taken her to the depths of the ocean, where she has explored shipwrecks, coral reefs, and other underwater ecosystems. She is also an experienced freediver and has completed numerous dives to great depths. Shepel is currently a research scientist at the Ukrainian Oceanographic Institute and is known for her work on the conservation of marine life. She is also an advocate for ocean conservation and has spoken at numerous conferences and events on the importance of protecting our oceans.
