Nehla Heidar

Nehla Heidar is a Iranian-British human rights activist and academic. She is the current Executive Director of UN Women, a United Nations entity that advocates for women's rights and gender equality. Heidar has worked extensively on issues related to women's rights, gender equality, and social justice. She has held various positions in governments and international organizations, including serving as the Deputy High Commissioner for Refugees at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
