Nicholas Flamel was a French scribe and manuscript seller who lived in the 14th century. He is best known for his alleged discovery of the Philosopher's Stone and his supposed achievement of immortality. Flamel was a prolific writer and left behind a large body of work, including several manuscripts and books on alchemy and mysticism. He is considered one of the most famous historical figures of the Middle Ages.
