Nick Schifrin

Nick Schifrin is a moderator and correspondent for the PBS NewsHour. He has been with the show since 2009 and has covered a wide range of topics, including politics, foreign policy, and national security. Schifrin has reported from several countries, including Ukraine and Russia. He is also a frequent guest on other news programs and has written for various publications. Schifrin holds a master's degree in international relations from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Southern California. He is fluent in Russian and has a working knowledge of Ukrainian. Schifrin is based in Washington, D.C.
