Nikita Chernov is a Russian ornithologist and professor. He is a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and has been working at the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 2000. Chernov has published numerous papers on bird biology and ecology. He is also a popular science writer and has written several books on ornithology. Chernov has been a guest on various Russian science podcasts, including "Время науки".
