Nisi Shawl

Nisi Shawl is an American science fiction and fantasy author, editor, and critic. She has won numerous awards for her work, including the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award, and the World Fantasy Award. Shawl is known for her feminist and queer themes in her writing, as well as her advocacy for social justice. She has published numerous short stories, novels, and anthologies, and has edited several notable science fiction and fantasy publications. Shawl is also a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has been involved in various charitable organizations. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
