Ruler of Hyderabad
The Nizam of Hyderabad was the ruler of the princely state of Hyderabad from 1798 to 1869. He was a member of the Qutb Shahi dynasty and was known for his efforts to modernize the state and its economy. The Nizam of Hyderabad was also a patron of the arts and architecture, and his reign saw the construction of several notable buildings in Hyderabad.
