American novelist and short story writer
Nora Faulkner was an American novelist and short story writer. She was born in 1905 in New York City and grew up in a family of modest means. Faulkner began writing at a young age and published her first short story in 1926. She went on to write several novels, including "The Bride of the Innisfallen" and "The Wild Party", which were widely praised by critics. Faulkner was also a prominent figure in the literary world, serving as the president of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She died in 1971 at the age of 65.
