Norman Scott

Norman Scott was a British man who was in a relationship with Jeremy Thorpe in the 1960s. Scott was a former soldier who had served in the British Army. After his relationship with Thorpe ended, Scott began to pursue Thorpe for a divorce, but Thorpe refused. Scott then began to seek revenge against Thorpe, and in 1963, he went to the police and accused Thorpe of attempting to murder him. The case was highly publicized, and Thorpe was eventually acquitted. However, the scandal damaged Thorpe's reputation and led to his downfall as a politician.
