Oleg Balanovsky

Oleg Balanovsky is a Russian geneticist and professor who has made significant contributions to the field of genomics. He is the director of the laboratory of genomic geography at the Institute of General Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Balanovsky has authored two monographs and over 80 scientific papers. He is a prominent figure in the scientific community and has been involved in various scientific forums and discussions. Balanovsky has also been a vocal advocate for the importance of science in society. He passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 44.
