Orlando Letelier

Orlando Letelier was a Chilean politician and economist. He was a key figure in the opposition to the Pinochet regime and was a vocal advocate for human rights. Letelier was assassinated in 1976 and his death was widely condemned. He is remembered as a champion of democracy and human rights in Chile.
