Óscar Mateos

Óscar Mateos is the director general of tourism for the Junta de Extremadura, the regional government of Extremadura, Spain. He has a degree in economics and has worked in various roles in the tourism industry, including as a regional director for the Spanish National Tourist Office. Mateos is known for his expertise in promoting regional tourism and developing sustainable tourism strategies. He is also a member of the Spanish Association of Tourism Managers. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and cycling. He is married with two children.
