Ossama bin Laden was a Saudi Arabian businessman and militant Islamist who founded and led al-Qaeda. He was responsible for several terrorist attacks, including the 9/11 attacks on the United States. Bin Laden was killed in a raid by US Navy SEALs in 2011.
