Padma Lakshmi

Padma Lakshmi is an Indian-American model, actress, and TV host. She was born in Chennai, India, and moved to the United States at a young age. Lakshmi began her career as a model, appearing on the cover of numerous magazines, including Vogue and Elle. She has also acted in several films and TV shows, including the popular TV series "Top Chef". Lakshmi has been a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador since 2010 and has been involved in various charitable initiatives. She is based in New York City.
