Pope Gregory VI was a Pope of the Catholic Church who lived in the 11th century. He is known for his role in the Investiture Controversy, a conflict between the Catholic Church and the Holy Roman Empire. Pope Gregory VI is also known for his involvement in the sale of indulgences, which led to widespread corruption within the Church. He died in 1046.
