About Patrick

Patrick Long is a firefighter with over a decade of service in Southeast Georgia. He was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma in February 2025 and has since become an advocate for cancer prevention in the fire service. Patrick is the founder of The Decon Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing cancer risk and promoting firefighter health. He is a passionate speaker and has shared his story with numerous audiences. Patrick is active on Twitter and enjoys engaging with his followers. He is based in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
