Patrick Marleau is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 21 seasons. He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion and was a six-time NHL All-Star. Marleau is also a podcast host and has been involved in various charitable initiatives throughout his career. He is known for his work with the Sharks Foundation and his advocacy for mental health awareness. Marleau was born in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada, and grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He played junior hockey for the Thunder Bay Flyers and was drafted by the Boston Bruins in 1997.
