Paul Cartledge

Paul Cartledge is a British historian and classicist. He is Professor of Greek at the University of Cambridge and has written extensively on ancient Greek history and culture. He is known for his work on the history of ancient Greece, particularly the 5th century BC. Cartledge has also written several books on ancient Greek history and has been a frequent commentator on Greek history and culture in the media. He is a Fellow of the British Academy and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
