Paul MacLean is a neuroscientist and author who has spent his career studying the human brain and its many mysteries. He is best known for his theory that the human brain consists of three distinct regions: the reptilian brain, the mammalian brain, and the neocortex. MacLean has written several books on neuroscience and has been a frequent guest on television and radio programs. He is a professor emeritus at the University of New England and has received numerous awards for his work. Despite his many accomplishments, MacLean remains a humble and curious scientist, and is widely respected for his groundbreaking research.
