Paul van Dokkum

Paul van Dokkum is an American astronomer and cosmologist who is best known for his work on the formation and evolution of galaxies. He is a professor of astronomy at Yale University and has made several important contributions to our understanding of the universe. Dr. van Dokkum is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has received several awards for his work, including the National Science Foundation's CAREER Award. He is also a strong advocate for science education and has worked on several projects to promote STEM education. Dr. van Dokkum has a PhD in astronomy from the University of California, Berkeley and is currently a professor of astronomy at Yale University.
