Paulos Mattathius

Paulos Mattathius is the Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. He was born in 1956 in Ethiopia and became the Patriarch in 2006. He is known for his efforts to promote unity among Ethiopian Christians and his advocacy for human rights. He has also been involved in various humanitarian efforts, including disaster relief and poverty alleviation. Mattathius has written several books on theology and spirituality, and has been a vocal critic of human rights abuses in Ethiopia. He has also been a strong advocate for interfaith dialogue and cooperation.
