Pengyo Okamoto

Pengyo Okamoto is a Japanese Ainu scholar and lecturer. He was born in 1985 in Rishiri Island, Hokkaido, Japan. Okamoto is a member of the Ainu people, an indigenous people of Japan. He has written extensively on Ainu culture and language and has taught Ainu language and culture at various universities in Japan. Okamoto is also a popular lecturer and has given talks on Ainu culture at various events and conferences.
