Pérez Kurbango

Pérez Kurbango is a Venezuelan politician and military officer. He has served as the National Defense Minister of Venezuela since 2017. Kurbango was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and graduated from the Venezuelan Military Academy. He has held various positions in the Venezuelan military and government, including serving as the commander of the Venezuelan Air Force. As National Defense Minister, Kurbango has been a key figure in Venezuela's response to the country's economic crisis and the ongoing US-led sanctions against the country.
