Peter H. Stone

Peter H. Stone is a historian and author specializing in Irish history. He has written extensively on the subject of the Irish Famine and its impact on Irish society. Stone has also written on other topics such as Irish emigration and the history of Irish agriculture. He is a professor emeritus at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Stone has received numerous awards for his work, including the Irish American Heritage Award. He is also a fellow of the Irish Academy of Letters.
