Peter Stumpp was a German farmer who was accused of being a werewolf in the 16th century. He was the subject of a series of trials and was eventually executed for his supposed crimes. Stumpp's case has been the subject of much debate and has been the inspiration for several books, films, and TV shows. He is considered one of the most famous alleged werewolves in history.
