About Phyo
Phyo Zeya Thaw is a Burmese musician and activist. She was a member of the National League for Democracy and was a spokesperson for the party. Thaw was arrested in 2017 and sentenced to 10 years in prison for her involvement in the 2010 protests in Myanmar. She was released from prison in 2021 and has since become a prominent voice for human rights and democracy in Myanmar.
