Pier Giorgio Frassati was an Italian Catholic layman and social worker. He was born in 1901 in Turin, Italy, and died in 1916 at the age of 15. Frassati was known for his charitable work and his commitment to the poor. He was a close friend of Pope Pius XI and was considered a model of Christian charity. Despite his short life, Frassati left a lasting impact on the Catholic Church and is still revered today.
