Pierre Barbet

Pierre Barbet was a French psychiatrist and author known for his work on the history of psychiatry and the human psyche. He was born in 1910 and died in 2004. Barbet was a prominent figure in the field of psychiatry and wrote several books on the subject. He is best known for his book 'L'Âme du Docteur Tardieu', which explores the history of psychiatry in France. Barbet was also a professor at the University of Paris and was a member of the French Academy of Medicine. He was awarded the Grand Prix de Littérature de l'Académie française in 1996.
